There doesn't seem like theres any article reviews on any of the major review sites. I'm curious on how the T61 15.4 stacks up to the previous gen widescreen T60. It seems like all the excitement wore off when they reviewed the 14.1 T61 and everyone forgot about the actual update to the T60(at least in screen size).

Makes me nervous since my purchase date is coming up (I'm waiting for the 4th of July sale).

I don't think it's too important. The only thing that the review would talk about over the 14.1" would be port placement right? Otherwise I can't imagine the build quality is different. Several people on here have also said their 15.4" are solid. I wouldn't be too worried about it. Just think of it as a bigger 14.1".

It'll be nice if they compared screens though, there isn't anything on tabook about WSXGA+ brightness on the T61. But they usually don't do a direct comparison so I guess its just something to wonder about.

I was wondering if it'll be brighter then the T60 I was viewing at BestBuy but that one could just be dull for being left on 24/7.

I think it's 220 nits? My ASUS is supposedly specced at 180 nits and I consider it bright. I wouldn't mind more brightness though. I had the same impression of the T60 I saw at a big box shop. I don't know if it was just the lighting in the store, but the screen looked much dimmer than my ASUS.

It could be but there isn't any documentation on tabook about it.

Kinda weird too, just WXGA on tabook and not a peep about WSXGA+

First link on the sticky thinkpad faq.

    Seems like the R61 has a WSXGA+ screen at 200nits /ponder
