as of today lenovo is allowing me to configure a 15 inch model with the flexview screen ( SXGA+ TFT Flexview ) Select T-series - select 15 inch models - select the model on the right - Upgrade to SXGA+ flexview. Prices are in line with the t60p model after upgrading to the x1400 card. :D

SXGA+ is 1400x1050 while WXGA+ is 1440x900. So WXGA+ is a hair wider, but shorter. The FlexView screen is the best notebook screen as it offers very wide viewing angles and is very color consistent, but Lenovo is phasing it out. As you can see some are calling Lenovo and still getting them.

    Infinitely betterj.

Generally it costs an extra $300+, and worth every penny.

Arguably it's the most important upgrade on the notebook. Other screens pale & suck in comparison.

But they're only available in standard aspect ratio, and increasingly hard to get because of cost.
