    14" 4:3 has top roll cage?

    I posted this question but didn't get any answer, and I can't find any info on this anywhere.

    Does the 14" standard screen model T61 have top roll cage as the widescreen model? Or it's simply the same chassis that T60 used?


    BTW, what's your opinion on T7100 VS T7300? I forgot to upgraded it...

    Well, tabook info for the T61 14.1" SXGA+ does make mention of ThinkPad Roll Cage and Top Cover Roll Cage (one-piece magnesium), which would seem to indicate a different chassis than the T60.

    the 4:3 screen only has 150nit and 200:1 contrast....

    Well, yeah. That was the one big compromise I had to make so as to get a 4:3 model.

    I like my d420, which is wide screen.

    But the wide screen T61 seems to be very bulky...
