    Hi all, I have a T61 that has a 4:3 screen, XGA with 1024 x 768 optimum resolution.

If I were to get T400 with an LED backlight, the screen would be WXGA+, which means it will be shorter and a bit wider with a 1400x900 resolution, which would make the native resolution much smaller.

Which Lenovo thinkpad has a native resolution that is the closest to what I have now?

That would be WXGA. Which is 1280x800.
