I was just wondering, does the Thinkpad T60 (palm rest) configured without a fingerprint reader look like this:

    or like this:

Thanks to all of you in advance!

It would look like that second image, the first looks like it is made for a fingerprint reader but it has been removed for some reason. I'm not even sure a T60 can be configured WITHOUT a fingerprint reader.

The fingerprint reader upgrade actually costs 30$. I won't need it but if the T60 would have looked like in the first image i would have taken the upgrade. I just wanted to make sure they have different palm rests for units with and without a reader. I edited those two images myself, that's why the first looks kinda "homemade".

In that case, definately the second. I didn't know you photoshoped the reader out, well, part of it (in the first image).

Actually i edited both pictures.. Should have mentioned it, i guess. I couldn't find a picture of a T60 w/o fingerprint reader anywhere.

Well I didn't even know it existed (thought it was optional on older models - T43, 42 ect).

2nd Image hands down. I co-own a T60 without a fingerprint reader. Its just flat no indents or holes.

IBM/Lenovo, being an upstanding notebook producer, would never make a laptop that looks like that first picture. That's just simply out of the question.
