I just noticed the option to select between 'Transactional' and 'Relationship' models on the Canadian Lenovo website. I'm pretty sure this is new, but i'm not positive.

Either way, I'm confused as to what this actually means. I googled it and found some people talking about how it has to do with them selling to large corporations (relationship) vs. small businesses (transactional), but I'm not sure what this would mean in terms of the actual machine.

Does anyone have any insight into this?

Nobody has any input on this? Or is it obvious and I'm just missing something?

Haha, this sounds more like a thread about database design than business model.

It's just their system being buggy. You'll notice that all sorts of additional options are available during those glitches, including T5xx processors on T and W series notebooks, as well as complete downgrades on the Enhanced and Elite series notebooks. That can lead to some cash savings if you don't require some of the base features on those models.
