Several members of the forum having been requesting a certain, default, ThinkPad wallpaper. Though another members provided the member with the wallpaper, I have resized and cropped this wallpaper to fit multiple resolutions. I saved each in .BMP format to preserve quality. As you may know, this format tends to end up being a large file. So, I have zipped these backgrounds.

Here are the eight different resolutions included:
    Resolutions:

    320 x 480 [Typical PDA]
    480 x 272 [Sony PSP]
    800 x 600 [PC]
    1024 x 768 [PC]
    1280 x 960 [PC]
    1280 x 1024 [PC]
    1400 x 1050 [PC]
    1600 x 1200 [PC]

Due to file size limits, I have uploaded this file by other means. (It's almost 3 MB. Yeah... wow.)

    Download ThinkAmericasMap

If the file gets deleted on the hoster's server, email me at [email protected] for a copy of the zip file.

    Enjoy,
    Matt

Here it is at 1600x1200. You can resize it using Ifranview, a free photo utility. Ifranview will install Google Toolbar and Search. Just uncheck them during the setup unless of course you want them. I guess they need money too.

JPEGs have greater compression than BMPs.

Depends on what your goal is.
