yes, it's true, lenovo wants that much for a 6 cell battery on their Australian website.

check out yourself, go to lenovo australian website, go to t400, it's under the battery option.

this happens a lot on Australian website, i for one spotted a projector that was retailing for 100,000 AUD... we must be suffering from huge inflations......

and X301 with 15.4 inch or 13.1 inch LCD.... typo....

Also, Lenovo have retailed T61 in USA for like 199 dollars couple of years back.. shame it didn't happen in Australia...

lot of laptop companies make this sort of mistakes due to typo, viruses or website been hacked. Dell also make a lot of them. One of my friend got a 1000 dollar laptop for 99 dollars, and in the spirit of thing Dell did sell it to him for 99 dollars.

ok... i am officially giving up on lenovo, they make buying a thinkpad a ing pain the . now i know why thinkpad are so rare. anyways.

what tablet should i get that's equivalent to the x200t? must have brightscreen. that's easy to buy.

    hp, dell, asus, doesn't matter

no, you should not give up on thinkpads. You can call lenovo and put you order in. The machine itself is worthing the money.

no, it's overpriced here, website full of mistakes (so far i found t400 battery and x200t screen), lack of dealers (no one shop in Sydney have x200 tablet on display). lenovo USA refuse to ship to Australia.

what do u want me to do?

is there anyone or third party dealer in America that can buy it for me and sent it to me to Australia?
