I'm thinking to buy a ThinkPad T61 14.1" (not widescreen) with integrated graphics and just before the customize option the Lenovo webpage says the price start at $850.50 (25% off).
Click on Customize and the lowest price possible is $926.25 (downgrading to Vista Home Basic)
    Try here:

Check the first at the left.
    Any clue?
I know the last sale finished yesterday and now they are setting a "Spring" one from today.
Is it a temporal mistake or I'm missing something?

It is a little bit off topic, any way, could you explain a little bit (better in another thread) about your experience?
Would you think the same even if some one is not pretending to play games nor making 3D?
    Thanks a lot.

Don't listen to Sir Travis. Integrated graphics will be fine.

If you don't play games (or play older games like Starcraft or Half Life 1), then integrated graphics will be fine and will give you better battery life than having a dedicated graphics chip on board. The Intel X3100 integrated graphics chip on the T series is fine for running Vista, everyday applications, and most older games.

If you are planning to play newer games without lag, then you should be looking at the Quadro FX570M that's standard on the T61p (equivalent to 8600GT with DDR3, but with a 64 bit mem bus). With the GeForce 8600M drivers, that GPU will deliver much improved gaming performance at the cost of decreased battery life and more heat from the laptop.
