The warranty may jack up the price a couple hundred, but it's worth it when your laptop's world comes screeching to a halt and you need it fixed. -
$1207 plus tax is still a good price to pay, considering the specs of the machine.

that's my exact build for the same price (plus my 3 year warranty)...i definitely think the 3 year warranty is worth it, you never know what will happen and you'll save a lot more money this way.

Actually, I think I would rather go for a 14" T61p model that runs about $175 less than that similarly equipped.
But that looks like a good deal as is, so if it works for you, go for it! -
