I ordered a Dell laptop with the Dell wireless card, but since ordering have read several posts recommending the Intel. If my Dell card works fine, I guess I won't have an issue. But I'm just curious whether you can buy an external wireless card or replace an internal card?

Yes to both questions. Easiest way is to get a PC Card replacement. Harder way would be to replace the internal card.

Question, if Dell wireless then not Santa Rosa? Any comment? To much confusion over "what is Santa Rosa". Sorry if I shifted.

Correct if it has dell wireless it is not a Santa Rosa notebook. As it is missing one of the main components of the platform.

The laptop should come with a sticker saying Intel Core 2 duo. But it will not have the centrino sticker on it as it is not a centrino

Thanks Ben. I somtimes wonder if Dell is selling Santa Rosa and I think it is overhyped. Many people seem to think if it has a 800Mhz FSB and a Santa Rosa compliant CPU they have it and that is wrong! Then again I don't think it matters all that much. Intel branding. Notice Dell makes no mention of it?
