    What is the module highlighted with the red circle? I know it's not hte wifi because the wifi is at the buttom right corner.

    This picture is from an advent 7091 laptop

    Would a card reader use a mini pci port and have something that looks like an antenna cable connected to it?

    Looks like the Tv-card, connected to the mini-PCI port.
    And the cable goes to the back of the notebook to the TV-Antenna connector.
