    guys i was just about to use my webcam and it says its not found... how to fix or deal with this? im using acer aspire 4745G

    Does your laptop see a webcam in Device Manager? Seems like a bad webcam. Have you tried to call up Acer for repair?

    nevermind. was going to suggest a function keyboard shortcut but it doesn't look like one exists per the service manual.

    Perhaps the software you are using is borked? Try Skype and see if it sees your webcam?
