    Hello everyone,
I have a clevo p651se with a sammsung LTN156FL02-L01 screen, and it's really not a good screen, the yellow is ocher and orange is too dark.
So i wanted to buy the SHARP lq156d1jw04 (matte version of the LQ156D1JX01B ) screen who is uhd and use edp like the samsung. I found it on panelook.com.
I was wondering if the replacement will work , because it's quite expensive ( more than 165 usd without delivery) , has anyone tried something similar?
    Thanks

I ended up with the Samsung LTN156HL01-102 in my P650SE. Here's my video on replacing the LCD:

It's a great screen overall and has spoiled me a bit.

    I bought the 6-43-P6501-051-1C Cable and it worked with the new screen , I am so happy I can see yellow :) :) :) :);
    here the samsung LTN156FL02-L01:
look at the yellow of the firefox

and now the sharp lq156d1jx01 :
    far better :)
Also the SAMSUNG was at 48hz when the SHARP is 60hz , samsung contrast 700:1 sharp contrast 1000:1
but the samsung was better at viewing angle than the SHARP is.
I didn't found anywhere a 15.6" uhd screen who is IPS and RGB pixel ,( the screens who are 15.6" uhd ips are all RGBWB pixel like the samsung ), I hope that in some years there will be some.
That's all , thanks for reading and thanks for your replies.
ps: (sorry if I do not write a perfectly good english ^^ )

I've been looking like mad to find a screen for this laptop that outputs at 120hz, have you found anything like that? I know some of the newer laptops from the bigger companies have 120hz displays and I would love to have one in my clevo P650SG because I do a lot of on the go gaming.

I have only looked for 15.6" UHD screen and none of them surpass 60hz ,
here are the 15.6" uhd panel on Panelook.com ,
    http://www.panelook.com/sizmodlist.php?st=&pl=list&sizes[]=15.6&resolution_pixels=38402160
there is no 120hz 15.6" screen fullhd on panelook , and I don't know if all motherboards are able to take 120hz, my old screen was at 48hz and i didn't know ( before i tried ) that I can use 60hz .
If you have a screen at 60hz with good colours the best is still to keep it , there is a lot of bad screens on the internet , be really carefull if you want to buy one!

One last things , Even if i don't have problem with yellow anymore , i lost in viewing angle a little ,
and now I have on the SHARP screen a hardcoating(3h) that the SAMSUNG doesn't have , it create a little graininess effect on the screen ( I really can see it on white page like in this forum or everywhere on internet ) but it doesn't bother me that much.

4k panels over 60hz don't exist yet. The only one is a large Dell desktop monitor for 5 grand.

Yeah mines 1080p ips at 60hz, I'll keep it then, thanks for the reply! would you happen to know of any decent 1080p 120hz monitors that are relatively inexpensive?

Where did you buy the cable? How much? I have the same panel coming but I'm having a problem locating a cable.

I lost the bill , but I remeber that I asked a lot of clevo provider like Anyware if they still have the cable for this screen and my computer and one of them answered me; sorry i really can't remeber. try with Fortune technology

I found it ! Golden star computer in UK

when you change the screen , put the luminosity of the screen to the minimum and don't forget to disconnect the battery!

Thanks for your help kogoro. I will look them up. I've tried a couple of vendors here in the US and so far no reply to my request.
