hi i just got a hauppauge hvr-950 and for some reason after upgrading my sound drivers it keeps giving me errors when i start up the computer or media center. the error messages include "digital cable device registration application has stopped working" also media center has stopped working if it is open. do you know how i can fix this. i don't really want to roll back the audio driver because i had to update it to fix another problem. the laptop is hp dv4t

Did you try reinstalling the TV software? First check if there's an update.
