My ASUS ms50sv turns on but the screen never leaves the black. In the meanwhile my brother's aspire 6920 GPU has failed and after turning it on it gives those colourful bars across the screen and freezes even before running the bios. I am thinking about swapping the aspire GPU for the Asus. My questions are: is this possible? Has anyone have the same problem with the Asus and knows how to fix it?
    Thanks in advance

Asus uses a proprietary slot design so your plan is not going to work.
