    I am trying to downgrade a Toshiba A200 14v08c from Vista to XP Pro

    I have a disk but when I run it it does not see the HDD What is up with that and how do I get around it

    the Toshiba Site has drivers for this model for XP

    Welcome to the Forums.

    You need to set the HDD on compatibility mode (I can't remember the exact name) in the BIOS, or get the SATA drivers. Windows XP doesn't support native SATA out of the box.
