    i want to buy a faster processor for my studio 1737 laptop and i was wondering what would be the biggest processor i can fit in it? my current processor is in my sig

    Since you have a 1737, you should have a 45-Series chipset, and you should be able to use any Socket P processor up through the T9800. The T9800 (or T9900, if that's already out) is your "biggest" safe bet assuming that your BIOS is updated and all, but you may be able to use Quads and Extremes as well.

    yea the t9900 is out and i was looking at that but the idea of a quad or extreme is a curious one... but i just might go with a t9000 range
