    what is the max temps this netbook can handle ?

    highest i have seen with hardware monitor is 83 mobo, 88 cpu, 52 hdd, they all seem fine to me but the cpu is kinda high. i was wondering if any one knows or knows of a site that shows the max temps it can go to thanks!

    88 for CPU is quite high. Is your fan running properly? Have you cleaned up the heatsink recently? You may also try replacing the thermal grease...

    yea the fan is running and i can hear it spinning faster, i just got it off ebay so i dono if its dirty. what is the highest temp that it can go to ?

    52 HD?

    Do you have a spare drive handy (like, yesterday?). This is too high - most HD can handle 55 before they shut down - some Seagates can handle 60 - but all will be giving you errors and reliabilty problems at anything over 50 celsius.

    Take the computer apart as much as you can and blow out the dust.

    You may even need to reapply the thermal paste on the CPU to bring the temps closer to the norm for that netbook.

    i dont have a spare drive. i have been looking into getting an sdd tho. the drive is a wd. do you know what the max temps are for the cpu and the mobo ? thanks a lot for the replys.
