I wasn't sure which part of the forum this belongs in, so I posted it with the hardware components/upgrades since there's a bit of talk about the LCD laptop screens. I'm actually looking for a LCD monitor to use alongside my NP5790 (WUXGA 17"), which has a native resolution of 1920x1200 and more than enough video card to back it.

I'd like a monitor in the 24-28" range that will be good for hi-res gaming and hooking up an HDTV tuner to, if possible. Style is not an issue.

I'd also like a secondary monitor, in the 22-28" size range that is passable for gaming, but at a budget price.

There are a lot of monitors out there I realize, and I'm totally new to the market. So any suggestions would be appreciated.

Go grab the Dell, BenQ, or Samsung 24".

    They are all good.
