This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     i noticed that a lot of business laptops and tablets and a few gaming have a swapable bay for the dvd drive to put in a another battery, another hdd or just a dust cover (for less weight)
    i have a hp dv6500t do i have any options like this?

    I dont think so; my roommate has the dv9500t and he cant.

    HP Pavillon series is HP's consumer notebook range. If you look at HP Compaq series, which is HP's business range, some of them have modular bays for a hefty price.
