    1) You can, but my question is why? You have a nice rig, I don't see the benefit. If you want to start though, get the "Centrino Hardware COntrol" utility and start there. Be advised, you can screw yourself pretty badly if you make drastic changes.

    2) Go to the site of the manufacturer and look for an update. I know Intel updates theirs every few weeks.

    3) Go to device manager and drill down to find the HDD. If you can't tell from the name, copy and paste it into Google.

You can overclock your laptop but by doing this the amount of heat that is generated increases. Minor overclocking can be done to give a small boost without any problem. Note if you are overclocking increase you frequencies by in steps of about 2Mhz and test it each time to make sure it is working without any problems.

Driver upgrades can be gotten from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
They supply official and unofficial drivers. Use the unofficial ones at your own risk but i have never had any problems with them.

If you wish to overclock more than a small ammount then you may need to do some heat mods.
A GPU heat mod is described in detail at this link for a "GeForce4 4200 Go" but i think it should be very simular for your card. http://www.bay-wolf.com/8500videoheat.htm#

Do not overclock a large ammount without doing a heat mod as a laptop will overheat very rapidly and will burn out your cards.
