I look at the dell.com & I see notebook with Celerom M processor

I look at my local reseller & I see same model with T7250 processor.

Is this celeron M processor with a different name?

If not where can I find out what processors are Celeron M. ?

The ones that make notebook silent.

First off, there are many different Celeron M processors. Second, none are equivalent to a T7250. You can tell it's a Celeron because it'll say "Celeron so and so" (usually a three digit number). It isn't a Celeron if it doesn't say it's a Celeron. And Celerons don't make your notebook silent.

The Celeron M is a single-core processor, the lowest-end of Intel's standard processors. Avoid it . . . get something with a dual-core processor. The Pentium Dual-Core is a great alternative, as are any of AMD's dual-cores.

Take a look at this Acer I bought for $400:

None of the processors will make the notebook silent . . . they all need to be cooled.

If anything, Celerons will may your notebook noisier because it doesn't have SpeedStep, can't throttle down to save power, and is thus, on average, pumping out more heat than the rest of Intel's mobile processor range.
