    interesting expresscard devices

    We're all got it. That express card slot that you pretty much never use (at least I don't). Whats an interesting device for your expresscard slot that you can recommend.

    I have seen the combo mouse+remote which is interesting. The TV controllers are ok.

    there are ssds fitting in there, and wwan adapters fitting in there. other than that, yep, mainly no use.

    They will be more useful when the laptop is obsolete and encounters a new technology like my Sony and its need of some usb ports lol.

    While I can get a tv tuner to put in the mini pci-e slot thats hidden in my chassis i am actually thinking of getting one of the tv tuners thats connector doesnt stick out of the slot and that way I also gain rca inputs via an adapter that i dont get to do with the internal.

    The stock blank on myne actually holds an SD and MS card (at the same time) and i use that all the time.

    obviously, if your notebook lacks some feature, there's an expresscard for that :)

    i kinda think the pcmcia stuff are a waste casue i have never used those devices. yet it always wastes the volume of my laptop that can otherwise fit another HD! I rather have another HD with its extra weight than have an empty spot doing nothing.
