Hi, I have an Acer extensa 5620-6830 and I was just wondering if it was possible to somehow upgrade the integrated video card to a dedicated one? It currently has a X3100 Media Accelerator integrated graphics chip. Thanks in advance!

Mmm. I've heard it's possible, but rather it's worth it or not is a different story. You'd have to find someone that can take it off the motherboard (it's melted there), without destroying the computer :p.

Another option is getting external graphics. I'm not sure if it's released yet, but look around.

The better option would be to sell your current laptop and buy a new one.

Please read the sticky. End of story.

    Answer: NO upgrade is possible.
