i have two chips here same stepping same model. one idles at .963 the other at 1.013 voltage wise.

the lower vid one under stress runs 3-4deg hotter than the higher vid one. at idle the lower vid is 1-2 deg hotter. the lower vid temps jump around a lot where the higher vid is a smoother gradation up and down.

the odd thing is the lower vid tends to jump to 1.388 for very short bursts where the higher vid one i have yet to see spike over 1.288..

i am keeping one and getting rid of the other which would you keep. they are pretty close so im torn between them..

    lower vid steps:
    0.963
    1.050
    1.175
    1.288
    1.388

    higher vid chip:
    1.013
    1.13
    1.20
    1.288
have yet to see it tap the 1.388 mark

    just curious for your thoughts
