Anyone with a notebook or desktop i7 try undervolting their CPU? Just was curious if any programs supported it yet and how much of a difference it made.

I too was just about to start a thread on this.

I have a HP Envy on the way which has the i7 mobile processor and there have been a few members who have said there is some heat generated.

Was wondering if anyone has attempted to undervolt an i7 mobile under windows 7?
