What make one better then the other?

    Intel® Core™ i3-330M 2.13GHz (3M cache)
    vs.
    Intel® Core™ i3-350M 2.26GHz (3M cache)

When building a notebook on the Dell site they offer the i3-350 for $35 more.

The only difference between the 330M and the 350M is 130MHz clockspeed, and that is not worth $35.

What do you plan on doing with your notebook?

Just mainly school things. Microsoft Office, surfing the web, and storing music/videos/pictures/documents.

Agreed, there is no practical reason for you to spend extra on the CPU. The 330M is a good value.

Your money is better spent on a 7200RPM hard drive - that will help you with program load times, boot up, and anything else involving disk access.
