Hi, few days ago I purchased at PC City a 11,1" subnotebook Philips Freevents X69 produced from Twinhead who calls it F11Y.

Since with 1 GB of RAM it's a bit slow with preinstalled Windows Vista, I asked Pc City Clinic to upgrade my notebook to 2 GB.
They answered me aren't able to upgrade it becouse notebook haven't any
access port on the bottom side to do it!

I contacted Twinhead Support Service, they told me to upgrade ram need to partially disassemble it as wrote on the service manual and they cannot send it to me.

I need support from anyone did it or have technical service manual.

    PLEASE HELP ME!!!

    Unfortunately I solved my problem.

Despite info gived me from Twinheads Customer Service, that said me notebook is upgradable to 2 GB... this evening went to PC City support service to upgrade it.

They opened the notebook and found only one ddr2 memory slot, already filled with 1GB memory, then it is not upgradable to 2 gb!

This is the first time I see a subnotebbok Core Duo with only one ddr2 slot!

You can still put a 2GB stick of DDR2 memory in that single slot... you just don't get dual channel or any of that fancy stuff, not that it matters much.
