    i got a free laptop. Fujitsu Lifebook C350, dark ages i know. i upgraded it to Windows 2000 pro. i have 32k ram and Intel PII 266MHz. It has a 4 gig harddrive. i was wondering if i can add a usb pcm card with an external hard drive to it. is that possible? just want to use it for general internet and documents. would like to do more with it if i could use a external hard drive. i couldnt use a usb 2.0 connection could i?

    The 266 might be a little slow for usb 2. You could buy one and take it back if it don't work. A 5400 or 4200RPM drive should work with usb 1 if you have a usb 1 port. Good Luck.
