I am thinking of getting a Sony VAIO VGN-FW520F/B which does not have eSATA. Therefore I am planning to add an expresscard to my purchase, having it done once and for all.

What would be your suggestions for this laptop? Also not quite sure which type would be more appropriate for this laptop. Any other suggestions than Expresscard are welcome as well. My price range can go up to 70-80 USD. Thank you!

    I have the following:

My only complaint is that it is free to move in my Expresscard/54 slot in my Inspiron 1501. Given the stiffness of esata cables, this is a problem anytime I shift the laptop on its desk. It looks as if your notebook has a Expresscard/34 slot, the size this card is actually designed for. I would expect that it would work perfectly in your case.
