im a bit rusty so cut me a lil slack :p
i bought this dv9207us from compusa(great deal btw) and wanted to get 2g of ram in it since it only has 1g.... now the specs say it has DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) but i noticed it only has a frontside bus of 533 mhz.... it shouldnt matter if i upgrade the ram with DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) memory right???

    thx ahead of time..

Yea, it won't matter, the RAM will be automatically downclocked to the right settings.

Right, the PC2-4200 memory will be fine, and the PC2-5300 memory will be fine also.
