    hi, i have an sz250p vaio laptop, 1.8 ghz core duo and was wondering if i could upgrade it to 2.0 ghz core 2 duo?

    Yes, you can upgrade, however you will probably require a BIOS upgrade. If you wish to upgrade, it is quite likely that the warranty will become voided. Unless you are doing something like serious encoding, or video encoding, then a processor upgrade is pretty useless. Gaming depends most upon the graphics card, and a Core Duo T2500 is a very powerful processor, more than capable of gaming. Hope this helps.
