why is it that when i start downloading torrents, upon opening utorrent, my mozilla gets disconnected? even though my download is still on going... my mozilla says i am not connected to the internet though the utorrent icon shows i am still downloading

is it a problem with mozilla? with utorrent? my router? or with my internet provider?

any tips on how to solve this problem?

    Hmmm..

Have you tried going to the file menu on mozilla, then clicking "work offline" to turn off working off line?

If you are a heavy downloader, your internet provider may be throttling your connection, slowing it down.

Alternatively, you could be using up all your bandwidth and not leaving enough to surf.

A lot of ISPs penalize you if you max out your upload with BitTorrent. I would set your upload max in uTorrent as a percentage of your max upload instead.
