Hi, recently ive been having problems with my video card (geforce 7900 gs) on my e1705. i figured it was damaged due to lines running down my screen during boot up and not being able to run the current display settings on windows. so i uninstalled the video card and ordered a ati x1400 to replace it. the change went by fine until i powered the laptop on and nothing came up on the screen. i plugged in an external monitor and was able to get picture. i went to bios and saw that it recognized my new video card but under panel it said it was an unknown device. so there was my problem. i tired to unplug the monitor from the motherboard and plugging it back in several times but still same result. any solutions?
