    best docking solution - which?!

    i have just purchased a dell latitude d620 - very happy so far but think i need to go with a docking solution - i would like to ask for input around which solution to go for - dell vs others e.g. kensington

    any experiences??

    If you want functionality, including video, the laptop specific dock is the way to go. If you merely want to connect peripherals a port replicator will do. USB can't do decent video.

    Right, the Dell solution is a dock, the others are port replicators. There's a signficant difference in ease of use, the dock is much better.

    my friend has a docking station for his d610 that he doesn't use. would it work on a d620?
