    since i'm going to be living in a dorm,i thought it would be a bright idea if i used a laptop or desktop to watch tv.because a good tv set would cost $1,000+ and the chance of my roomate buying a tv.

    it'd be a good idea to use your laptop as a t.v. and it'd be 1 less thing you have to move in with.

    Dude, I know a few people who use there laptops as TVs and they all love it.

    Word of the wise: Dont buy a screen that is smaller than 15.4" or else you have to be right up next to it to watch.

    Hmm i was also considering getting a tv tuner for my dv8000t. Does anyone have experience with these because i was wondering how the picture quality is for both analog and digital (on a 17" screen).
