Anyone have a favorite, really quick and easy to install, either external or internal, cooling device to help laptops survive this summer?

Actually, two questions. The other question: Has anyone seen a carrying case/bag which is some kind of liner which could help keep laptops a little cooler in transport?

The best thing, is a bunch of duplo blocks or erasers, or a small book. Simply proping up the back of the laptop, a good half of an inch to an inch, can really help improve airflow and cut operating temperatures.

If you have a dell, download I8kfangui, it is a fan control program by Christian Diefer, which works on most Dell laptops.

I recommend getting a notebook cooler. It is the easiest and cheapest way to cool your laptop by a few degrees. Also it is a good idea never to let your laptop sit in the sun and make sure you turn on your AC if the day is really hot.

www.newegg.com is probably the best online place. Otherwise you could check out Best Buy or something like that.
