    Hey,

Im thinking about buying an XPS system, but want to know your opinions.

I am a gamer: WoW, Counterstrike:Source and I want to be futureproof for games coming out in the next few years.

Which graphics card is better (also to do regular things like word processing, powerpoint, etc. but I'm assuming if it can game like crazy, it can easily do those things..):

SLi, Dual nVidia GeForce 9800GT 512MB

    Or

    ATI Radeon HD 4870 1024MB

Both are the same cost on the Dell site. The default is the nVidia but I can choose the ATI for $0.

What about being futureproof? Will the ati having 1gb make it foolproof or the sli being 2 chips also make it futureproof?

Also mind you its not GTX its 9800GT

They're both top of the range and are what I class as the definition of futureproof. Check out the link I posted above.

Yeah that's what Im thinking. The link is for mobile chips though, although it does say like u said the 4870 is better right now and sli not as great.. but that could be because its a mobile/laptop version? I'll check it out though on desktopreview.

    Thanks a bunch
