    what kind of specs would i need in an Dell XPS M1530 to run Oblivion on high settings with zero lag?

    get the 8600gt and the 2ghz processor plus 2 gb ram. idnt know if this will run the game on high but games are mostly gpu dependent and the 8600gt is the best avalible in the 1530

    I would get at least the 2.0GHz core 2 duo processor with at least 2 GB of ram (maybe 3GB) the 8600GT GDDR3 with 256MB (of course ;)) and a 7200rpm hard drive (you could probably get a 5400rpm hard drive and it would be fine).
