    Hi,
I have just ordered a Lenovo w520 and an Intel 310 mSata 80Gb drive. I already have a 160Gb Intel X-25 drive. As I understand it the mSata drive will be slightly slower. Therefore is it better to install Windows on the faster X-25 drive and my programs on the slower mSata drive or vice versa? I will keep my documents on an old fashioned harddrive in the Ultrabay.
    Thanks

Thanks for your reply but I don't really understand what you mean by mentioning another SSD drive? As mentioned I already have two SSDs, one mSata and one standard 2.5". Which of these two should I install Windows on and which should I install my programs on? Ie, which benefits most from the faster drive for the overall performance?
    Thanks

Intel X25-M is slightly better performing, but to be honest, I don't think it matters much or would actually be able to notice the difference. I'd say use the mSATA for OS and apps, and 160GB SSD for everything else.
