Will Windows Vista's best version (64 bit) work on the e1505, because i believe its 32bitx2 but i'm not sure! Any help?

Err..No. Its uses a dual core processor and both cores are 32bit. Not 32bitX2.
To run 64bit Vista on a dual core processor, both the cores should be 64bit.

You can still run Vista(32bit) with the e1505. The ones with dedicated memory will run it better than those with integrated graphics.

You don't need a dual core where each core is 64 bit to run 64 bit vista, just a single core that is 64 bit.

Your comment about "best version" has me concerned.

There is no "best version". There all the same basic thing. It does differentiate in 64bit vs 32bit...but no one knows if there's a significant performance difference in the OS itself(probably a little...but not much). It would just allow you to take advantage of speed increases in 64bit applications(which are few and far between right now...and probably for another year or two).

The various iterations of Vista will be just like the differences between XP Home and Pro. 90% of all end-users will only need the basic version(or 2nd most basic in Vista's case).

But, as previously answered...no, your processor is not 64bit, so you can't use the 64bit version. Like I said before though...there's no evidence that the 64bit version of Vista will perform significantly faster than the 32bit counterpart. We'll have to wait and see some benchmarks first.

well, one would hope that for the extra cost the Ultimate edition will incur, it woll be better for at least a decent segment of users.

It'll run applications at the same level as any other version. That game tweaker option...I'm not even sure what it is...but I'm guessing a profile manager of some sort? Just changes settings to optimal conditions before launching games?
