Windows Error Code 43 - Asus G51vx-rx05 - Help please

I repasted my GPU and it worked fine for about 2 days. Then yesterday, it started to get these purple lines on the screen while I was surfing. So I restarted the comp. It restarted and it was fine, couple minutes later same thing. So I restarted it again. After that, while booting up, the screen has all these weird characters during boot up. Not in the actual screen after windows have started. Then my resolution changed. It sees my gpu but it would not use it. I tried repasting it again making sure I was careful and this time even thought the computer was not using it it was getting super duper hot!! Like so hot that I can keep my finger on it for a sec. Then I got error code 43. I tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling it and would not load. So I tried a clean install. That would not work either. The GPU heatsink is hot as f! Any ideas?

Are you sure your GPU is making full contact with your heatsink?
