I have a 1GB SD card which I dont use much unless I take photographs with my cam.....So I leave it in my notebook's card reader, as Vista has a new feature called ReadyBooster which speeds up the computer using external Storage devices I use my SD Card for the purpose....

Will this cause any problems to my notebook's Card Reader??

I don't think it'll ever pose a thread to the card-reader, as I have said, laptops go through many stress tests before being released.
