    Ive just recently upgraded my E1705 to Intel's 5100 wifi card and all I can say is WOW!!! Now I'm looking at doing the same to a friends HP Pavilion ze2315us. Here are the specs:

    The ze2315us uses a mini PCI wireless card. You should in theory be able to use any mini PCI wireless N card, but HP has a BIOS lock on the type of wireless cards you can use, so if there isn't an HP branded mini PCI wireless N card certified for this machine, you won't be able to replace the internal card.

    Since you have a PCMCIA expansion slot, though, you could always find a PCMCIA wireless N solution...

    I dont even think they make mini PCI wireless N cards do they?

    I originally didn't think they made 'em either... but I did a Google search and what do you know? AFAIK, Nnne of the two "big" names (Intel, Broadcom) make them, though, which is why OP probably won't find one that works in his/her machine...
