Hey guys. I'm finally in a position to replace my laptop and have a few models nailed down that would best serve me (Helios 300 class of laptops), but most of these laptops seem to run into noise issues that I would consider unacceptable. It would seem repasting with a high quality TIM would be one way to bring temps down and lower the fan speeds a bit. Assuming repasting the processors myself would void warranties, would you guys mind listing a few companies who sell laptops like the Helios 300 that also offer repasting and warranties the product? I have no issues doing the task myself, but I don't have particularly good luck with laptops.

Will not void warranty with new laptop unless you break something by yourself.

The sticker on msi laptops is just there to know if you open it or not, so msi can identify user-inflicted damage (or so they say).

Acer, not sure about this particular model, but on the more expensive G/predator series there are no warrany sticker like msi.

HIDEvolution I think has services for that from the factory, but depends on models.

If you want the best possible thermal performance out of the box I would recommend obsidian-pc clevo (obv not a helios 300, but similar in price class). They lap/polish the heatsink in addition to tim application.
