I just bought an external enclosure with eSATA, a Samsung HDD SATAII and an expresscard with SATAII but my laptop doesn't find the HDD.
THis is my 4th enclosure with HDD and I have never had any problems before...I connect the USB and the laptop recognizes it and then I format the drive...
This time I did the same but no extra HDD appears in explorer...could it be the jumpers settings cause the HDD didn't come with the plastic cap for the jumpers? Besides, I don't remember setting any jumpers before.
