I think the first is a mobile card, the second is a desktop card...

I may be wrong, but I believe one is for desktops, and the other is the mobile variant.
EDIT: LOL, beaten to it again. :D

Searched for the difference between x2300 and HD2300, and the difference was "- in the HD version there is :
"Unified Video Decoder (UVD): Full H.264 and VC-1 decoder" in the section "AVIVO"" ... It also seems that the x-versions only can handle DX9.0c and the HD-versions from ATI supports DX10.0 ... can the conclusion be that the X-version can't handle as high graphics as the HD-version... what effect does it have then on my gaming??

First of all...are you talking about the 2400 or the 2300?

Second of all....is this in a laptop, or a desktop?

I'm talking about 2400 but when I didn't found anything about it I checked the differences in 2300 model... And just guessed it would be the same in the 2400 model and I'm talking about a laptop :)

I would say....you won't find much of a difference in gaming. They have the same build...one just supports advanced video decoding (HD), and DX10 (rarely used in any games). All games that use DX10 usually have an option to use DX9....so I don't think you'll see any difference in them, unless your decoding video or something of the sort.
