    Hi everybody,

I have an Acer Aspire 51004WLMi from a year ago, one day I opened it to change a module of RAM, and I saw that below the card reader is a slot for connecting something, does anyone know who served this slot?, I've marked on the photo with a blue circle.

Thanks you for your interest and answers.

It looks like a mini-pci slot... but it's a low resolution pic so I can't tell for sure. You can plug things like WLAN cards, etc. into this.

    Yes its a mini-pci slot
Your laptop probably had a few extra options available that were not included when you purchased it
Maybe check on Acer's site and see if your model had extra options available
