    What is the ideal size laptop for couch surfing?

    What do you think is the best size laptop for surfing the net while sitting on the couch?

    Just for surfing the net, I'd say 13 inch.

    Well, if I'm at home, I just think I might as well enjoy a big screen, since I don't have to take it anywhere. 17 and 16 are a little too heavy in my opinion. I say 15.

    Yeah, though I prefer 14 inch, since for a very little increase in weight (compared when going from a 14 inch machine to a 15 inch) you can get a higher resolution screen and better cooling (which is just as important as size IMO)

    yeah 12- 13" is the way to go. I dont have a 13" but my 15.4" and 17" are way too big to use on a couch.

    13.3" to 14.1" as they are smaller and are usually cooler.......15.4" - 16" is fine as long as it is not too heavy or hot.

    Oh come on... i'm the only one voting for 17in Notebooks?

    I like 17in because it have plenty of screen and you can increase the font and just lean back and mouse everything.

    Plus having poor eye sight smaller notebooks screens make most things look like blurry lines of text

    I agree with you but i voted 15 inch. Hell i use my dv7 in the car. Sure it takes up alot of space it works just fine.
